Fully Relishing the Fall

This fall has been so fantastic I just feel compelled to share some of the fun things we have been doing to fully take in this precious time of year.  (Can you tell Fall is my favorite?? If only it lasted LONGER!!) So here is your fully disclosed warning:  This post is mostly pictures.  But once you take a gander at these cuties, you'll understand why I feel the need to share them with you.

First we went to Sibley State Park with Grandma and Grandpa Petersen. The boys love camping and although by fall it starts to get really cold at night (can we say 2 room heaters in our tent so we could sleep) we enjoyed hiking, fishing, and hanging out around the campfire.

Then we went to Minnetonka Orchard and picked apples.  Let me just give a quick shout out: This is an AWEsome orchard.  If you are looking for one, it has a little bit of it all.  Highly recommended.  This was Jace's first orchard complete with a hay/wagon ride.

Love the faces on these little guys.

Apple pie I made with all the apples we picked.

We spent and afternoon celebrating Grandma Petersen's birthday and taking family pictures at Elm Creek Park Reserve.  We had an absolutely perfect day to spend at the park and had a lot of fun.

Cake pops I made for my mom in-law's bday

Lastly here are a bunch of randoms at the park.

Hopefully Fall will last a little longer.  And by little I really mean that we could just skip right over all that white stuff and slippery stuff!! Or at the very minimum, a couple more fabulous weekends where I can take more pictures of us frolicking in the leaves, picking and carving pumpkin,s and doing a lil trick or treating!
